All-on-4 Dental Implants Explained

All-on-4 Dental Implants Explained

Have you ever heard of All-on-4 dental implants? We offer this dental treatment in cases where our patients need a full mouth reconstruction. Today we’re going to share the benefits of doing an all on 4 treatment as well as what it entails.

What is All-On-4?

This dental treatment entails placing four dental implants in your mouth that will serve as a full set of teeth. Our doctors place these implants in your jawbone, which will provide support to an entire arch of interdental or posterior implants. This procedure is different from traditional dental implants as we won’t have to replace or repair teeth individually.

Who Is This Treatment For?

All-on-4 is perfect for patients who have experienced tooth loss from accidents, are older, or have severe tooth decay.

How Does the Procedure Work?

Before we start the this dental treatment, we’ll assess the health of your jawbone. We’ll be checking for decayed tissues and structural problems.

Next, we’ll do an x-ray or CT scan and put you under anesthesia. We’ll make a small incision in your gum line that will take a few weeks to heal.

When you return for a second visit, we’ll place the four titanium dental posts in your mouth. This does not require anesthesia and takes less than 30 minutes.

Why Our Patients Love All-On-4

All-on-Four is Affordable

All-on-4 is a cheaper option than a full set of individually placed implants.

It’s Quick

After we place the implants, our patients will leave the same day with a new set of teeth!

They Look and Feel Natural

These implants have a natural feel and look to them–most people wouldn’t know they are not “real” teeth. They are also fixed implants which means they won’t slip or move during your day-to-day.

Usually No Bone Grafting Required

Because of the way these dental implants are placed, we usually don’t need to complete any bone grafting.

It Can Help Fix Underlying Issues

These implants can help correct speech issues that are caused from a damaged bite. Some patients also see relief with bruxism that’s from worn-out implants or removable dentures.
