Meet
Dr. Erin Westmeyer
Dr. Erin Westmeyer joined Krengel Dental in 2022 after several years of teaching implant dentistry and seeing patients in the faculty practice as a Clinical Assistant Professor and Assistant Director of the Implant Program at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry.
Her interest in dentistry began in 5th grade when her orthodontist explained the math and science that went into moving her teeth with braces. She felt the transformation of her smile and wanted to help other people achieve the same feeling about themselves and their smiles. While attending St. Olaf College, her passion for dentistry and working with patients was solidified on a month-long trip to Peru to set up medical and dental clinics. Dr. Westmeyer attended dental school at the University of Minnesota and stayed to complete a 2-year fellowship in Implant and Contemporary Dentistry.
She loves working with implants and helping guide patients through the implant process. She is also looking forward to being a part of the comprehensive care of the patients at Krengel Dental.
Dr. Westmeyer grew up in Shakopee and now lives in Chaska with her husband, daughter, son, and yellow lab. She loves brunch, traveling, exploring the Minnesota Zoo with her kids, and spending time with her family.
