Dr. Jennifer Hummel

Dr. Jennifer Hummel is a Minnesota native. She attended Gustavus Adolphus College, where she played hockey and graduated with a degree in Psychology. After college, Dr. Hummel moved to Arizona for a while to figure out her career path. It was there that her uncle John picked up on her fascination with his “perfect teeth” and forced her to shadow his dentist. Dr. Hummel’s dental office growing up was old, dark and antiquated, so it was never on her radar as a profession she might enjoy. During her shadowing she realized that dentistry is a great fit, as it is art class in a healthcare setting.

Dr. Hummel went on to attend the University of Minnesota for Dental school, and it was there that she met classmates Dr. Krengel, Dr. Pound and Dr. Desjardins. In addition to private practice, Dr. Hummel works at Children’s Hospital helping children with limited access to dental care. Her gentle and caring nature allows her to excel in providing people of all ages with a positive dental experience.

When not in the office, Dr. Hummel enjoys spending time with her husband, two kids and dog, Nacho. She loves sculpting, skiing and playing broomball and hockey.
